Moving to Italy during the pandemic of 2020

In following our fall traditions, last year in 2019 my family and I picked apples, ate apple cider donuts, and drank warm apple cider while strolling through the orchard of Wegman’s Farm in New Jersey. This year it's foraging for chestnuts. Every year for 9 years we visited this farm decorated with haystacks, scarecrows, and pastures dotted with all varieties of pumpkins just for picking – never for eating. The hayride – my son’s favorite treat, was a ride in the back of a trailer drawn by an old john deere tractor. Sitting on bales of hay, we had the first-row seat to nature’s beauty as we drove through woods lined with heavily laden leaves of gold, reds, oranges, and yellows. I would have to say fall in New Jersey was my favorite time of year. How quickly things change in the flash of an eye.
